One of the main distinctives which sets all Baptists apart from other denominations is their insistence on immersion as the only proper and biblical mode of baptism. Some have gone so far as to claim that baptism by any other mode is no true baptism, and, further, that a church which fails to administer this sacrament according to their accepted mode, is no true church. The contents of this little book were compiled from a series of sermons preached by the author in direct response to such claims, and are an able defense of the historic understanding of Christian baptism as sprinkling or affusion.
